Ethical Non-Monogamy
Relationships can take as many shapes as there are people. While we all grew up surrounded by monogamy, more and more of us are wanting to explore alternatives.
Ethical non-monogamy can take many forms. The one that's getting media attention is polyamory ... literally many loves. But there are so many other alternatives as well. I help people explore what structure fits them best.
It often can feel like a lonesome journey, setting up your consensual non-monogamy framework. It may be awkward to ask friends or family, and it's easy to feel like there's no one else with you on this path. But truth is, about 5% of the U.S. population considers themselves non-monogamous. That's about the same as identify as LGBTQ+ and twice as many as are Jewish. So you aren't alone.
I help polycules, couples, and individuals make their way through what can be a minefield of intense emotions. I understand non-monogamous relationships can be ethical and healthy. It can be a difficult path but the rewards are worth the effort.
Whether it's helping develop a sensitivity to scheduling, creating a safe place to discuss powerful emotions, or finding ways to tune more deeply into your partner(s) and yourself, therapy can help you rediscover passion and joy.
